Weekly Update

Its been a busy week here that's for sure...at work we had a booth at the fair this year (tried something new) and of course I had to take my turns working the booth which ended up being better than I thought it would be...for one reason I ran into a lot of people I knew and secondly Kevin worked all my shifts with me so when it was slow and boring I had someone to talk to.

One good thing about the fair is that I got to see what the other vendors were selling and I fell in love with two pieces of jewelry so Kevin bought them for me....

One of the raffle prizes our booth was giving away was this really cute pink cooler (so of course you know I wanted one!!) When Patty had bought it she said that there was only ONE left so Kevin rushed out to get it for me....(like we needed another cooler??) But I needed the pink one.....Saturday after our last shift at the fair Kevin and I headed down to Eau Claire...we stopped at the Leinie's brewery and had some more free samples (love that place!!) So here is Kevin on his 3rd beer (but notice the size of the glasses...)
Then we did some shopping around and finally went to supper..we went to Milwaukee Burger and they are known for some really unique burgers and everytime we go there I've been trying something new...I finally tried the Goober Burger (in addition to the burger it has muenster cheese, applewood smoked bacon, PEANUT BUTTER, and GRILLED BANANAS)..yes you read that right!! It was awesome and might be the best burger I've ever had....

Here is a pic...the big square things are cheese curds...yum!!!!Katy has been staying busy (as usual!!) I don't think I've seen her for more than 5 minutes at a time...she's either working or hanging with friends (I guess that's the way summer should be for a kid!!) I did get a picture of her this morning all dressed up as she was heading out to church...her and Jennique were asked to sing a song at church so she was SUPER EXCITED!!!

She went shopping yesterday with her friends and bought this new dress and she bought a new bikini..so after church today she ran into the house real quick changed into her new bikini and off to the lake they were going....she ran by so fast I couldn't get a picture of her in the bikini (maybe its better Kevin didn't see her!!!)haha
