Well here she is in her scrubs AFTER a 12 hour day in the ER dept at the Menomonie Hospital...she went and shadowed a doctor for the day and she got to assist in quite a few emergenicies including stitches, splinting a broken leg, holding a baby while they inserted an IV, helping in radiology, and lots of other stuff..she said her youngest patient was 7 months and her oldest was 99 yearsWhen she got in the car she just went and on and on about her day..when I asked her if she could see herself doing this for the rest of her life she said (very enthusiastically!!) "Hell yeah!!" and I couldn't help but laugh.....
And here is her nursing assistant diploma that she earned..so college for the summer is now done and maybe she can actually enjoy some of the summer now???

I think the best part is her HUGE smile after a 12-hour shift of that kind of work. THAT says something for sure. You have to be so proud of her!
