This weekend we actually didn't have anything planned (Kevin and I that is)..Katy always has things planned!! Friday night Kevin and I went and bought everything we needed to stain/paint the deck this weekend...so I guess you could say that we did have plans this weekend but it wasn't FUN stuff!!
Saturday morning Katy wanted to go to the mall and look for a homecoming dress...(a new boy in school asked her out and she's EXCITED!!!) and apparently none of her current dresses (that also haven't been worn yet) weren't "cute/sexy" enough...Kevin LOVED hearing that part!!! haha
So this is the dress she bought..its really cute (and I will admit sort of sexy)...she looks great in it and it fit her perfectly!!
I'm sad that I won't see her get all dressed up for the homecoming dance next Saturday (we'll be out of town..more on that later) so I had to get a pic of her at least trying it on at home so I could show you guys....I'm BEGGING her to make sure someone gets a pic of her and the new guy together....she said "if she remembers"....uugghhh!!!Saturday afternoon Kevin and I went around and fixed some loose boards on the deck, replaced a board that was rotted (the weight of the snow around here just kills the wood), and washed it off and got it ready to be stained/painted. I took some pics of the deck (you can tell that the floor needs to be done REALLY badly!!!)
The deck is 32x34...we keep a lot of stuff on the deck and yet it still looks empty!!
Sunday morning Kevin and I got up really early and got outside before the sun came up....we got the deck floor completely stained/painted and it looks amazing!!! Someday we might do the inside walls but seriously can you imagine how long that would take?? The insides are waterproofed and have held up really well......
Here is a picture of the outside of the deck from the side yard...the outside walls looked great and didn't need to be redone so we were lucky enough to only have to do the floor this year!
Off to bed...I'm so tired!!!!

I think her dress is very stylish, cute and fun! Just the rt amount of sexiness for a girl her age :) Hope she has fun!
Her dress is SUPER CUTE! Mannn, I dread the days Camden tells me "It's not sexy enough!" Michael will surely have a panic attack!
The deck looks amazing after you guys redid it. Funny how different the yards are where you live- they are SO beautiful & GREEN.
