Katy...an update!!!

I know I've said this before...but honestly she had to have been switched at birth!! She just keeps amazing me!!

First off...no she doesn't have her license yet but she's working on it...she's retaking the driving portion to build more confidence and she has a better teacher than what she had the first time and this time she's actually learning stuff...I'd teach her how to drive but I'm afraid I break every rule there is and would probably fail myself.

School is going really well for Katy..she ran for treasurer of both FBLA and FCCLA and she was elected and she was really happy....she's taking some really hard classes this semester and still continuing that 4.0...she's working a lot of hours at Culvers...and she's the manager of the high school dance team.

I sit back amazed at Katy...she's smart, she's friendly, she's funny, she's musically gifted, she literally succeeds at EVERTYHING she attempts!! Well this past Monday a college music director came to her school JUST TO HEAR her sing!! Katy has a beautiful voice and her music teacher knows this college director and she told him that "you just have to hear Katy Leshko sing"...so he came to her school to have her audition for him.

He's from the University of Wisconsin and they are putting on a play...he was so impressed with her voice that he gave her a part...she's going to be in the lead chorus!! She was so excited!!! He told her she could have a career in music....she's not interested in music except as a hobby but I told Katy I think she can do ANYTHING she sets her mind to!!

So anyway just had to brag.....
