THEN my really good friend Christine (who we haven't seen each other in person since 2003) called me up and said she had worked her magic and got a trip to Mpls with a really long layover and did I want to come up and spend the weekend with her...HELL YEAH I did!!!
So headed up to Mpls on Sat morning and Christine and I got to chat and catch up on life...it was awesome!!! We walked around downtown St. Paul, had a few drinks, ate at Pop's and spent more time talking and laughing!!!! Just overall a wonderful wonderful time!!

I also ended up buying my first iBook for my iPhone this weekend and I'm loving reading it on the phone..wasn't too sure if I'd like it but its awesome!!! I'm reading Stephen King's new book "Under the Dome"..its awesome!!!!
Also here are a few cards I've made over the past week......the Mexico cards are for my friends that are going with us on the trip this year...they turned out really cute!!
I never have sympathy cards on hand and I'd rather make them when I don't have a reason to (if that makes sense) so I made up 4 of them to have on hand....
Then I made this cute hedgehog card..I used to LOVE hedgehogs!!!

Very cute cards- especially the Mexico ones. Seems like just yesterday, Michael & I were honeymooning in Cabo- sleeping in every day, sun bathing, & having plenty of cocktails by the pool!!.....and now we're about to welcome our 2nd child?
It's safe to say, we will NEED a vacation in a BAD way by this time next year. : )
Have you gotten an iPad yet? Michael either wants that or Apple t.v., since he has gift cards from Graduation!
You have been a busy girl! Great cards! What a good idea to get some sypmathy cards done up ahead. Those are the hardest ones to make, and you did a great job on them!
