The Weekend

Here's a couple of pics of Katy's sophomore year on the dance team...she's excited this summer to start cheerleading practice though but she was happy to get a few pics of her friends on the dance team...she knows the team wouldn't have been the same this coming year anyway since her friends were all seniors and they'd be graduating anyway.

This weekend was nice and peaceful....it was great to have a 3 day weekend!!! Friday started off with me getting off work early at 2pm (which was SO NICE!!) Friday night was Cameron's graduation and Katy had to sing at the ceremony. She was sad to see so many of her friends graduate....

I spent most of Friday on the deck with a cold beer and soaking up some sun...it was beautiful this weekend!! Saturday was more of the same..Katy and Kevin both worked so I did a lot of relaxing, a lot of stamping, some cleaning, and MORE time on the deck!!

Saturday night Katy went out with some friends to the races..Kevin wasn't real thrilled....it was a group of guys from Baldwin that like a group of girls from Cameron and they came and picked Katy up and I told her she could stay out until midnight (she was home by 11:30) but Kevin wasn't happy that I let her go (you know the whole dad and his little girl thing!!) But I trust Katy to make good judgements.....

Sunday my friend Trisha (from Mpls area) and her family were up at their parents cabin in Chippewa...so I went down to Eau Claire after church and met up with Trisha and we did some shopping....Trisha was looking for some Mexico stuff for our trip and we had fun....then Trisha and I headed back up to this area as she has never seen my home so we came up here and spent a couple of hours until Kevin was done with work. Then we all headed BACK to Eau Claire to meet up with everyone for supper and some margaritas..yum!! Thanks Trisha for the birthday drinks!!!

Monday Kevin and I headed back to Eau Claire (AGAIN!!) and had lunch at Olive Garden and did some other shopping...came home and spent some time on the deck...I'm really starting to get tan!!!
