A lot of people say Christmas is their favorite time of the year...but I really think Easter is my favorite time of the year..and let me tell you why:
You know how you pick up a gift card at a store and that gift card is a nice thought and you know that the person receiving it will like it...HOWEVER that gift card is useless UNTIL you go up to the register and pay for it and have it activated...then at that point the gift card has a purpose and a meaning.
Well I kind of look at Easter like a gift card...Jesus birth on Christmas is great and you know you're going to love it...HOWEVER its his death and resurection that paid for that gift and activated it (sort of like a gift card!)
I like to think of every year we are all given another gift card..we are given His grace, His mercy, and His forgiveness...so please pray for those that are unbelieving that they too can come to know just what Easter weekend means!!!
