As you can imagine the entire state is in Packer mode...we always are (win or lose) but when the Packers had a year like they had the crazyness gets upped a notch or two....
You know this guy is just pure class....Aaron Rodgers is the epitimy of a great quarterback and a great person...he has avoided all drama, hasn't been in trouble with the law, he's heavily involved in charity, he's not showy, he's not in your face "I'm great", etc....with all the drama he had to deal with when Favre wanted to come back to the Packers and the Packers said "NO" (thank goodness!!!) This guy held his head up and had the most 3 amazing seasons that a starting quarterback has ever had..he's destined for greatness!!Rodgers was just named FedEx NFL player of the year...and do you know what he said?? When they asked him how it felt to be so young in his career and breaking records and taking his team to the superbowl..he replied "I don't do it for the numbers or the records..I play football because I love it and I'm so happy that the Packers could go to the Superbowl so our veterans like Driver, Jennings, Woodson, and all the other great players could have this chance. We got here as an awesome team not as one great player."
How cool is that...and honestly if you heard all the press about him you'd know that he's being 100% sincere..he's not about media attention for himself!!

I think some people around here are tired of winter!!!

BAAAAHHHHH!!! Loved this post, especially the hanging snowman. Well said about Rodgers- Michael has a "man crush" on him (that's seriously what he tells people, and I don't even know what to say to that!)
Keeping fingers crossed for the Packers! I know Kev will watch the final, but it will be on way too late for me! Funny piccies too!
