Katy had a very exciting weekend as well!!!
On Saturday she had Regional competitions (again she was competing in Math) and she placed 2nd out of her group (Juniors and Seniors from all of northern Wisconsin) and she qualified for state again (yeah!!!) This is the 3rd year in a row she's gone to state....woo hoo!!! She was so happy.....
And another good thing was about a month ago she applied for Camp Cardiac in Chicago and they only accept 40 students a year (its for a week at a hospital in July) and she was accepted!!! She had to submit essays, teacher recommendations, etc...so it was pretty elite that she got accepted!!! Kids from all over the nation apply...so she was stoked that she got accepted!!
Not only did she get accepted she also got a scholarship (that was a seperate essay and application)....way to go Katy!!!
I'm so proud of my daughter...whatever she sets out to do she accomplishes one way or the other but the best part is...she does it with a smile on her face and she thoroughly enjoys every minute of it!!!

Many congrats to Katy, you have every right to brag. And way to go Packers!!! Kev is watching it right now (I already Googled it this morning, but he has no idea who won and won't let me breathe a word!); it was on live early in the morning here.
