The Weekend

I had such a nice weekend...left Friday afternoon to head down to my mom's house and I stopped in Janesville, WI and met my friend Julee for supper..we ended up sitting there for 4 hours chatting..it had been SO LONG since we had seen each other!! Julee used to live up here and we seen each other quite often but now that she lives down there we don't get to see each other that often!! I sure do miss her.....

Then I headed to my mom's house Friday night...on Saturday mom and I did some birthday/christmas shopping and had a fun day!! We then headed to Melissa's house to visit with her and Brian...Brian has an upcoming birthday so it gave us a chance to celebrate...Brian was a good sport with his Packer snuggie that Katy bought for him (its a joke) but I think that Brian will actually use it..it was a nice blanket!!

Then we all took mom out for her birthday dinner...her and I shared a pitcher of Sangria's...yum!! We went to eat at Granite City..that is one of my alltime favorite places..yum!!!
After dinner mom and I headed to her birthday surprise...she had no idea what we were going to do...I surprised her with 3rd row tickets to Anita Renfroe...we had so much fun!! Anita is a comedian that does parodies of songs as well and she's so darn funny!! Mom and I had a side ache from laughing so hard!!!

Then Sunday after dinner I headed home...the roads were so busy and I was constantly being passed by semi's and I was cruising along at 65...well a semi was passing me on the left and as he passed me all of a sudden I had a deer right in front of my car and here I am cruising along at 65 with a semi on my ass as well so I knew I couldn't hit my brakes and I had a nano second to even think...so I braced my steering wheel and hit the flippin deer and I threw him forward and then of course he was lying in my lane and then I ran him over all in a matter of a second!!

I kept driving as I was about 40 miles from Eau Claire...I called Kevin and I was just shaking..but my car was driveable so I never pulled over...I decided to just leave my car in Eau Claire that night at the body shop so they could look at it on Monday. So when I met up with Kevin we looked at the front of the car and from what we could see there was NO DAMAGE!!! The dealership called me today and said that after they washed the tissue/blood and hair off the car and put it up on the rack they couldn't see any damage other than an alignment....WOW!!!

My new car is a freakin' tank but rides like a cadillac!!!!
